On July 4, 2005 I set out to ride my BMW GS Adventure motorcycle from Santiago to New York City.

My goal was to honor both of my countries - Chile and the United States - by taking a symbolic 3-liter bottle of Carménère wine with me and share its story with the wine media.

These are some of the pictures of my 1st continental expedition called "Carménère Adventure".

It was a 21,000-mile solo motorcycle trip. A 76-day long epic journey with an average of 430 miles per day.
