“IF YOU’RE GOING THROUGH HELL, KEEP GOING.” - WINSTON CHURCHILL

12,000-mile solo motorcycle trip around the United States to interview different professionals from the wine industry.

In October and November 2009, during 4 weeks, I rode my motorcycle from Miami to Boston, then crossed country through the Mid West to San Francisco. And went back to Florida on I 10 and I 20.

I rode under different weather conditions. From mild temperatures from Florida to North Carolina, to heavy rain and cold in the North East. Throughout the Mid West, I got stuck for 3 days between Kansas and Denver, due to a snow storm. The rest of the trip were nice riding conditions.

During this expedition, I interviewed people from wine stores, restaurants, importers and distributors. I wanted to film their experience and insights about the 3-Tier System. This is a unique distribution system for wines, beer and spirits that exists in the United States.
