In February 2019, I air freighted my bike from Argentina to the UK.
A week later, I picked it up in London and rode to LBS Sidecars in Holland.
In February 2016, I did my first motorcycle + sidecar expedition with Sebastián (my son), who at the time was 8 years old. We rode 3,750 miles from Chile to Brazil (round trip).
During that expedition, I fell in love with sidecars but I knew I needed a different one, if I ever were to ride around the world with Sebastián.
In February 2019, I put my bike on a plane and shipped it from Buenos Aires to London. A week later, I flew to Heathrow airport, picked it up and delivered to LBS Sidecars in Holland, where they built VICTORIA (That’s the name of my bike + sidecar).
Ad Donkers is the owner of LBS Sidecars and my good friend. He’s a talented mechanic, a wine enthusiast, and a master builder of custom sidecars.
It took me 7 years to have everything ready to travel full time with Sebastián and VICTORIA. So now, you can join us (virtually speaking) on our EPIC JOURNEY.
