Mont Blanc was a dream come true. It was cold, challenging, and relentlessly windy—every step felt exhausting. Yet, each grueling moment was profoundly rewarding.

I landed in Amsterdam, took a train to Elsendorp, and picked up my bike, VICTORIA, at LBS Sidecars. That evening, I set off on a 600-mile ride to Chamonix, France.

Our summit push on Mont Blanc was scheduled for September 19. With winds reaching 50 miles per hour (80 km/h), we were forced to turn back just 435 meters from the summit—it was simply too dangerous to continue.

As climbers often say, the real summit is when you make it back down safely to see your family and loved ones again.

In the photo above, I’m holding a bottle of my wine, MUBERT LA POÉSIE. Although my face is hidden by the cold and wind, I assure you, I was smiling.
